FAQs
Valley View Pendle is set in a very rural location, there is a lovely village, Barrowford, no more than a 10 minute drive away. The village has many amenities such as pubs, wine bars, cafes, smaller supermarket, chemist, newsagents / post office, local butchers etc. It is an extremely picturesque and busy village.
Should you wish to venture a little further afield, 15 – 20 mins drive, there are more bars and restaurants along with larger superstores such as Sainsburys, Morrisons, Asda, Lidl and Aldi.
Please refer to the things to do in the area page, here you will find some really great places to visit. In addition to this there are numerous parks and recreational areas, a cycle track for those keen cyclists, horse riding activities and numerous walks across Lancashire.
If you wish to venture further afield then there are many quaint villages and larger towns. Please do ask in advance of your visit if there is something specific that interests you and we are more than happy to assist.
Check in is between the hours of 4pm – 8pm, each glamping pod is situated on land adjacent to the owners house, so check in has a much more personal feel. On check in we can assist with any luggage, show you personally to your glamping pod and go through how everything works; along with giving you a run down of the area, and answer any questions. We do ask where possible you could let us have an estimated time of arrival, but we do appreciate this is not always possible.
Check out is 11am the day of departure.
On request we may be able to accommodate an earlier check in or later check out subject to availability; a surcharge may be payable in some circumstances.
Yes, wifi is available in all our glamping pods. However, please be mindful the service provided may not be similar to speeds you are accustomed to. Rural living means you don’t get the normal speed as you would at home, so if you’re thinking of bringing a games console or plan to work as you would normally do at home then be prepared for a touch of disappointment!

Yes, we take a holding deposit of £150.00 per glamping pod on a credit / debit card. It is a holding payment only, the credit or debit card supplier usually releases the held deposit no later than 7 days after departure. This covers us for any damage, breakages or excessive cleaning etc. that unfortunately may occur during your stay, we do hope this doesn’t happen, but we appreciate accidents do happen. We would never take a payment from the deposit without confirming the reasons why and the amount with you beforehand.
All bedding and towels are provided within the glamping pods. Should you wish to use the gym facilities then we do request you do bring trainers. We also ask should you wish to use the pool then please bring swimwear and swimming towels.
